Angel Amara Fefegula, a 12-year-old girl from Magburaka, has won the UBA Kiddies and Teens Accounts Raffle Draw held on January 12, 2023, at the UBA Head Office in Freetown. Angel’s mother, Alma Saio Kamara, expressed her gratitude to the Lord, saying, “We dey pray e dey show ‘angel’ of the Lord.”
UBA launched the Back-to-School Remittance Promotion on August 15, 2023, for account holders of UBA Kiddies and Teens Accounts. These accounts are designed for children aged 0-12 (Kiddies) and 13-17 years (Teens), allowing parents or guardians to create an early savings culture for their children.
Angel, a junior secondary school pupil (JSS2), dreams of becoming a medical doctor. When she learned about her win, she was thrilled and expressed her gratitude to UBA. She also shared her plans to use the Nle 25,000 scholarship for her education.

The Head, Retail Banking Anita Thomas also joined the MD/CEO in congratulating Angel and her mother.
