Joselyn Manley, a 30-year-old unemployed man, appeared before Magistrate Mamakoh Sao Kallon at Pademba Road Court No. 3 in Freetown on a charge of larceny, contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.
Police allege that on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025, at Sky Vision College, #5 Main Motor Road, Wilberforce, the accused stole two surface water pumps valued at Le5,000 and a generator battery valued at Le4,557 items belonging to the institution and under the care of Eric Sam King.
No plea was taken when the charge was read in court. Magistrate Kallon ordered that Manley be remanded at the Male Correctional Centre. The matter was adjourned to 5th August, 2025 for further hearing.
