Afrimoney Enhances Customer Payment To Masada
Afrimoney, on Wednesday 1st March 2023, partnered with Masada Waste Management Company at their Headquarters on Wilberforce Street.Masada, over the years, has become a household name in Freetown for garbage collection and management.The partnership will provide customers of Masada the opportunity to pay their bills through Afrimoney.
General Manager of Masada Waste Management Company, Sahr Dauda Kargbo, stated that Masada has been in operation since 2013 and has been taking care of waste management within the ambit of Freetown.He explained that customers are attended to once every week and four times a month, to collect their waste, noting that once the service is provided, the customer is obliged to pay.
He furthered that payment is done through their Revenue Collectors, bank transfers, adding that some pay through cheques or cash deposits at their offices.He highlighted the challenges they have been facing to collect payments through their established means, and that has prompted them to search for better options to receive payment.
He expressed optimism that the partnership with Afrimoney will alleviate the challenges on how they receive their payments.
“We are actually looking forward to this partnership to be very much productive and ensure that our revenue base increases drastically,” he concluded.
Director of Afrimoney, Martison Obeng-Agyei, explained that the integration of mobile money to every financial service is bridging the gap between demand and supply, affirming that the demand to collect customers’ waste is high, and the supply is there, because Masada has made their services readily available. He assured all that Afrimoney is going to provide 24 hours’ mobile money service to customers of Masada.
“We will continue to put our technology to the service of Masada until making payment no longer becomes a challenge,” he assured.
