SeDEP Braces for Grand December Celebration

The Sella Development for Education and Progress (SeDEP) is abuzz with anticipation as preparations intensify for the much-anticipated December celebration in Kamakwie. The leadership, alongside branch chairpersons, are leaving no stone unturned to ensure this year’s event is a resounding success.

In what seems to be a spirited competition, the branches are vying for supremacy, each aiming to outshine the others in a display of unity, creativity, and commitment to the SeDEP mission.

Alimamy Santious Konie Bangura aka Big Dad, the dynamic chairman of the Freetown branch, has declared his branch and the USA branch as frontrunners. “We are putting all modalities in place to ensure that we emerge champions this year,” he confidently stated, signaling an ambitious push for excellence.

Meanwhile, Makeni branch chairman Alhaji Osman Condeh has thrown down the gauntlet, proclaiming his branch as the “gateway to Kamakwie and Freetown.” Condeh boldly promised to “shock all the branches” with an unmatched performance, fueling the competitive spirit among members.

From Waterloo, the branch leadership has also made its intentions clear. With confidence and determination, they have pledged to claim victory and prove their mettle on the big stage.

Over in Bo, Abdul Clinton Dumbuya, a seasoned strategist, remained tight-lipped about his plans. However, he assured SeDEP members that his branch has a well-crafted strategy to make a significant impact during the celebration.

Meanwhile, Kono Chairman Alhaji Bakar Jawara is also bracing up to out do the other branches as the event is round the corner.

As the host branch, Kamakwie Chaiman Joseph M Bangura is poised to capitalize on its home advantage. The local chairman expressed unwavering confidence in their ability to dominate. “How can you come from USA or Europe and expect to win a competition in my home turf?” he asked rhetorically, throwing down a playful yet determined challenge to visiting branches.

Today’s preparatory meeting was graced by a host of stakeholders, including former and current presidents of SeDEP, who provided guidance and inspiration to ensure the celebration reflects the organization’s values of education, progress, and unity. Their presence underscores the importance of the event, as well as the collective commitment to making it a memorable occasion.
