APC Will Reclaiming State House 2028

-Osman Yansaneh Predicts

Following a crucial hearing at the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) involving the All People’s Congress (APC) and former Vice President Alhaji Chief Samuel Sam-Sumana, senior APC stalwart Osman Foday Yansaneh has confidently predicted an APC victory in the next general elections, stressing that unity within the party remains the single most important factor for reclaiming State House.

Speaking shortly after the PPRC proceedings, Yansaneh described the engagement as a defining moment for the APC, one that demonstrates the party’s maturity, respect for democratic institutions, and readiness to resolve internal matters through lawful and constitutional means.

A Test of Democracy and Party Discipline

According to Yansaneh, the hearing at the PPRC was not merely about internal disagreements, but about reinforcing democratic culture within political parties in Sierra Leone.

“What we witnessed at the PPRC today is democracy at work. The APC has shown that it is a party governed by rules, institutions, and dialogue—not chaos,” he said.

He noted that the presence of respected party elders, legal representatives, and national figures such as former Vice President Sam-Sumana underscored the seriousness with which the APC approaches internal reconciliation and institutional accountability.

From Internal Challenges to National Leadership

Yansaneh emphasized that every strong political organization goes through moments of internal testing, but what distinguishes successful parties is their ability to emerge stronger and more united.

He argued that the APC’s current engagement with the PPRC should be seen as part of a broader journey—from internal consolidation to national leadership.

“The road from the PPRC leads straight to State House if we remain focused, disciplined, and united. Our supporters across the country are watching, and they expect leadership, not division,” Yansaneh stated.

Unity as the Winning Formula

Central to Yansaneh’s message was a passionate call for unity across all factions of the APC. He appealed to party members, supporters, and stakeholders to put the party’s future above personal ambitions and grievances.

“APC can only win when APC is one. Unity is not an option; it is a necessity. When we speak with one voice, no force can stop us from forming the next government,” he declared.

He further stressed that reconciliation and inclusiveness must be prioritized, urging leaders at all levels to embrace dialogue and mutual respect.

Confidence in APC’s Electoral Strength

Yansaneh expressed strong confidence in the APC’s grassroots strength, national appeal, and legacy of governance, noting that the party continues to enjoy widespread support across regions.

He criticized the ruling government’s performance, citing economic hardship, rising cost of living, and governance challenges, which he said have left many Sierra Leoneans yearning for change.

“The people are suffering, and they remember that the APC has a proven record of development, infrastructure, and economic management. That is why victory is within reach,” he said.

Respect for Institutions and Rule of Law

While projecting confidence, Yansaneh reaffirmed the APC’s respect for the PPRC and other state institutions, emphasizing that adherence to the rule of law strengthens democracy and public trust.

He called on all parties involved to accept outcomes reached through lawful processes and to prioritize peace and stability in the country.

Looking Forward

As the APC continues its engagements with the PPRC and works toward internal cohesion, Yansaneh believes the party stands at a historic crossroads—one that could mark its return to power if unity prevails.

“This is not the time for division. It is the time for vision, reconciliation, and collective action. From the PPRC to State House, the APC journey continues,” he concluded.

With growing anticipation ahead of the next elections, political observers say the APC’s ability to manage internal challenges and project unity will play a decisive role in shaping Sierra Leone’s political future.
