AS 12 BURY TODAY NDLEA BOSS JOIN FORCES WITH HEAD OF BURIAL TO ERADICATE KUSH MENACE CBJSL/EBJA WITNESS BURIAL RITE

It was a sad moment today in Sierra Leone as twelve (12) young people who were suspiciously died of Kush smoking buried at the Kingtom cemetery in Freetown on Saturday 11th November, 2023 through the collaboration efforts of the newly appointed committed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and Head of National Burial, Connaught Hospital, Mortuary, Sinneh Kamara.
Speaking at the burial ceremony at the Kingtom Cemetery, Andrew Jaia Kai Kai emphasized on the stance or willingness of the Bio led Government in supporting fight against the killer Kush illicit drug which is ravaging societies in the country.


“Kush is bad or dangerous than the 11 years senseless and brutal civil conflict””, he stated and maintained that the Kush is killing generation and future of this country
In a sad mood, Kai Kai informed listeners that those souls buried are our children and urged all to rise up and end the menace for the good of future leaders.
Mr. Kai Kai emphasized on the need to stop or chase importers, manufacturers and ratailers of the killer kush to save failed generation.
As a way of demonstrating his commitment to eleminate the rampant misuse of kush, Mr. Kai Kai vowed to lay his last blood for the eradication of kush in our midst.
He spoke frankly that if the intake of kush is not stop within the next five years, Sierra Leone will produce brainless future generations and mentioned that kush had invaded schools, towns and villages across Sierra Leone. “It’s high time for action to save precious lives of our youths”, he asserted and dilated that addicted kids or children to kush needed help to remove them from the intake of illicit drugs.
In his submission, Head of National Burial, Connaught Hospital Mortuary, Sinneh Kamara described the burial rite as heart rendering for our brothers and sisters to die in such a way and deliberated that our brothers and sisters weren’t deserve to die of kush.
“Some kush inhalers or smokers preferred to buy kush than food”, Mr. Kamara observed and encouraged the infamous drug addicts to refrain from the illegal practice because they have an important role to play in societal development.
Mr. Sinneh Kamara demonstrated readiness on behalf of mortuary to join the NDLEA CEO in the fight against the escalated kush smoking at the nook and cranny of the country. He also warned importers and retailers of the illicit drugs to stop before been chased and lucked up. Kamara called on all facets of life to join government not in the aspect of prosecuting or naming importers, wholesalers and retailers of the infamous drug.
