SLFA president in trouble
In June, 2023, barely three days to the general elections in Sierra Leone amidst demonstrations in the northern part of the country where the opposition enjoys a stronghold, President Bio made a brave journey to the Tonkolili District Headquarter town of Magburaka to launch the construction/ rehabilitation of 22 buildings of the Magburaka Secondary School for Boys (MSSB.) It was a BADEA funded project costing over US$4.5M
One year on, this medium visited the MSSB to have a first-hand information on how far work has been done. Whilst other contractors are making a headway in other schools that benefited from the fund the contractors at the MSSB have done barely nothing boasting connection with the powers that be that whatever they do nothing will come out of it
Similar projects were also launched last week by the President at the Bo School and K enema School respectively
This medium gathered that the said company in Magburaka is owned by the president of SLFA, Daddy Brima who is alleged to be misusing his personal relationship with President Julius Maada Bio.
When this medium contacted him to have his own side of the story, he sent a Whatsapp message saying: ‘’…Go on with your nonsense…’’
As an impartial and objective medium, we will continue to follow this story to its logical conclusion.
