Ady Macauley Endorses APC Position
The Ady Macauley Movement (AMM) officially aligns with and endorses the position of the secretariat of the All People’s Congress (APC) as outlined in its press statement dated 19th May, 2025. In solidarity with the party leadership, the AMM strongly condemns the fraudulent printing and distribution of fake APC membership cards—an act revealed in credible reports and allegedly intended to manipulate the outcome of the 2026 APC National Delegates Conference.
As an anti-corruption crusader and a committed member of the APC, Mr. Macauley is uncompromising in his stance against such acts of deception. He calls for an immediate and thorough investigation and for all perpetrators to be held fully accountable. ‘’Any attempt to undermine the party’s internal democracy is unacceptable and must be confronted with firmness. This criminal act is a violation of the APC Constitution, which clearly outlines the requirements for valid party membership. Article 9 (a) (iv) provides that a person is eligible for Party membership if he: (iv) has applied in the proper form and paid the requisite membership fees prescribed by the Party. Forgery and manipulation of party credentials therefore represent gross misconducts that merit swift disciplinary measures,’’ Ade Macauley fumed.
The AMM expresses its full compliments to the secretariat for its steadfast resolve on this issue and entreats the party disciplinary committee to act decisively and transparently to ensure continued trust in the delegate process.
The Ady Macauley Movement urges all APC supporters and stakeholders to remain calm and responsible in their communication. ‘’We strongly discourage the spread of unverified rumors on social media, which only fuel confusion and division.
Supporters are advised to rely solely on official APC communication channels and credible party authorities for updates and guidance.
