Armed Officers Attempt Elimination Of Ibrahim Michel Sesay

Reports from the Southern District of Bo reveal that one Ibrahim Michel Sesay, a known taxi driver, narrowly escaped elimination by some armed men in military and police uniforms.

According to our source, Ibrahim is said to have gotten himself into this situation after witnessing the brutal killing of a passenger he was carrying. Close associate of Ibrahim Michel Sesay, who spoke to this medium on basis of anonymity, explained that prior to the raid on Ibrahim’s house, his friend confided in him that he had seen the killing of a man that had boarded his taxi, by a group of men claiming to have been ordered by a top government official (name withheld).

His friend explained that Ibrahim informed him that he was about to drop his passenger at the designated destination, when a group of men stopped his vehicle. On stopping, his passenger tried to get out of the vehicle and was swiftly apprehended by the men in the ensuing struggle. Ibrahim is said to have managed to escape from the vehicle into a nearby bush, where he took refuge and observed the entire incident unfold before his eyes. The men are said to have beaten the passenger to death, and realizing the possibility of being noticed by the driver (Ibrahim Michel Sesay), the men went in search of him, but to no avail.

Unfortunately, Ibrahim’s driving license was in the taxi, which the men discovered and stormed his address on the license. They again failed to find him, as he had taken refuge with his close friend (the narrator of the entire episode to us). He furthered that in the two days following the incident, his own house was raided by armed men in both military and police uniforms, demanding for Ibrahim’s whereabouts. He was only spared when the men ransacked his house and could not find Ibrahim, who had left late on the night of the incident, after news that some armed men had raided his house and had his driving license in their possession, which they produced when they requested from his family members about his whereabouts.

It is not known what had transpired between Ibrahim’s passenger and the top government official that led to his brutal killing, but the fact that Ibrahim Sesay witnessed the entire incident made him an important target to be silenced.

As we go to press the whereabouts of Ibrahim Michel Sesay are still unknown. This medium is also constrained to probe into the allegation for security reasons.
