Branch Chairladies Gear Up for SeDEP Christmas Celebration

All roads are leading to Kamakwie for the much-anticipated end-of-year Christmas celebration organized by the Sella Development for Education and Progress (SeDEP). This year’s event promises to be a spirited competition among the five branches, with each Chairlady determined to lead her team to victory. The celebrations have gained momentum, especially among the women members, as the excitement builds for what is shaping up to be a memorable event.

The National Chairlady of SeDEP, Fatmata Dumbuya (Mrs.), has called on all Chairladies to take the celebrations seriously. She emphasized that this year’s program is a competition among the branches, urging her colleagues to showcase their efforts and commitment.

Mariama Bah, the Chairlady of the Freetown Branch, popularly referred to as “USA,” exudes confidence. Despite facing challenges, she declared that her team has already completed all preparations, claiming they have effectively “won the competition” before the big day. According to her, Freetown Branch is ready to set the standard for the event.

Makeni’s Chairlady, Mariama K. Dumbuya, affectionately known as “Baby,” dismissed the hype on social media. She affirmed that her branch is working tirelessly to secure victory, stating, “We let our work speak for itself.” She assured supporters that Makeni would not be distracted by the noise and is focused on delivering results.

Fatmata Jawara, representing the Bo Branch, shared her branch’s strategy of staying under the radar. “We are keeping a low profile because our work is already complete. While others are busy making noise, we are quietly preparing to dominate,” she remarked, expressing confidence in her team’s readiness.

The Kono Branch Chairlady echoed a similar sentiment, emphasizing action over words. She stated that while other branches are busy with public declarations, her team is focusing on behind-the-scenes efforts. “It’s not about talk; it’s about results,” she said confidently.

As the host branch, Kamakwie’s Chairlady, Marion J.B. Turay, issued a strong statement to the other branches, reminding them of her authority as the event’s host. “All branches must respect the land of the lords,” she warned, hinting at her team’s dominance and preparation. She confidently predicted victory for Kamakwie, citing overwhelming local support.

This year’s SeDEP Christmas celebration is shaping up to be more than just a festive gathering—it’s a showcase of camaraderie, effort, and competitive spirit among the branches. With each Chairlady confident in her team’s abilities, the event promises to deliver excitement and a sense of unity underpinned by healthy competition.
