German Philanthropists and SHADE-SL holds an Amazing and Inspiring End of Year Party for Over 100 Children in Kambia.
German philanthropists like Astrid Friedrichs, Uta Lange, Christian Lange, Sandra Lange and Sabine Limberg in collaboration with SHADE-SL organized an annual party for over 100 children in Kambia, and this year’s event was hosted on Saturday, the 16th of December 2023. The party aims to provide a day of joy, celebration, and empowerment for the children, many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Preparations for the party begin well in advance, with Alhaji Kolleh Yillah and Madam Christiana and team work tirelessly to ensure that every child who attends has a memorable experience. Several personalities were also in attendance to grace this remarkable and exciting annual celebration for children in Kambia District, Northwest Region Sierra Leone.
On the day of the party, the venue is transformed into a vibrant and festive space, adorned with colorful decorations and entertainment for children of all ages including disables. There is a lot of fun, balloon art, music, and various other activities that keep the children engaged and excited throughout the day. Food and drinks are also provided, ensuring that every child has a nutritious meal to enjoy. The Yillah family and their German friends believe that nourishing their bodies is just as important as uplifting their spirits and engaging their minds.
