Investigations carried out by the Daybreak newspaper within the Sierra Leone people’s party(SLPP) enclave has revealed that David Moina Sengh, Chief Minister is bracing up to succeed President Bio after he concludes his last term in office.
According to some political commentators, who spoke to this medium indicate that, President Maada Bio is having sleepless nights to earmark a loyalist. Sources say among his appointees the only person that has met his benchmarks is the current Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister has been described as the right hand man to succeed President Bio. They say he is humble and a good listener, who is always ready to ensure that President Bio accomplish his set goals.
President Maada Bio’s cabinet is dominated by young people. One school of thought says he has brought young people into governance as a way of mentorship. But some SLPP members this medium spoke with say the current serving appointees are new faces to the party. They maintained that those who have fought for the SLPP to regain power have been relieved from their positions.
