SLPP Liberia Chapter held its inaugural and fundraising ceremony on 18 January 2026, reinforcing its commitment to peace, development, and the party’s “Big Five Game Changers” agenda.

Chief Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh highlighted the progress achieved under President Julius Maada Bio, including sustained peace, improved healthcare—particularly maternal health—and infrastructure development, such as bridges, and linking communities. He emphasized that continued support for the SLPP is essential to build an inclusive green, and middle-income Sierra Leone by 2039.
National Chairman Jimmy Songa commended the Liberia Chapter for its loyalty and dedication, acknowledging its critical role in delivering significant voter turnout for the party. He urged members to remain united and focused on winning the upcoming elections.
Chairman of the SLPP Liberia Chapter, Hon. Mohamed Kamara, praised the party’s leadership and expressed the chapter’s readiness to continue mobilizing Sierra Leoneans in Liberia. He stated, “Despite challenges, our chapter remains steadfast in supporting the SLPP and ensuring that our people abroad exercise their political rights to strengthen the party and advance the ‘Big Five Game Changers’ agenda.”
Founded in 2012 and officially recognized in 2021, the SLPP Liberia Chapter has consistently delivered one of the highest diaspora voter turnouts and remains a strategic partner in advancing Sierra Leone’s political and developmental objectives.
