DAY BREAK NEWSPAPER IS POLITICALLY NEUTRAL

Day Break Newspaper was established in line with the laws, regulations and rules dubbed Act of the Independence Media Commission. Our editorial policy is to demonstrate neutrality and impartiality in our coverage of national events, issues relating to the political, economic and social development of Sierra Leone.

In the disposition of our reports, we take into greet consideration our obligation to act between governance and society, and society and governance, in an impartial manner aimed at disseminating information to the general public within the limits of the Act of the IMC. Our vision is to contribute towards the progressive initiatives of our country, with great focus on development.

Our media house is open and shall welcome anyone, irrespective of their ethnic, political, religious and social belonging, especially in the form of coverage and interview, and shall equally publish comprehensive opinions, commentaries and views from contributors dealing with thematic issues of the state and society.

We stand firm to resist any form of influence or otherwise from influential and non-influential individuals aimed at distorting the image of any individual or institution, be it national or international, while we promise to be an institution worth emulation, we hereby appeal to the general public for their cooperation at all times.
