EUWGF Supports Orphans

The Empower Underprivileged Women and Girls Foundation (LG) has made a generous and transformative donation to support the education of underprivileged female orphans and abandoned girls attending higher learning institutions across Sierra Leone. The Foundation has covered university admission fees, tuition, matriculation, stipends, and practical examination costs for selected beneficiaries, underscoring its commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty through education.

This crucial support benefits young women enrolled at the following institutions: College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Fourah Bay College (FBC), University of Sierra Leone, St. Peter’s Women’s Community Education Centre, IMATT College, Kingtom, Freetown Polytechnic, Jui, University of Management and Technology (UNIMTECH), Use-Us Technical and Vocational Institute, Life By Design, and Useful Hands Vocational Institute

The Foundation’s assistance extends beyond academics, addressing the financial barriers that often prevent female orphans and abandoned girls from accessing or completing higher education and vocational training.

Mr. Alie Babagalleh Wurie, Founder and CEO of the Empower Underprivileged Women and Girls Foundation (LG), calls on compassionate individuals, partners, and organizations to join the mission to empowering marginalized female orphans and abandoned girls across Sierra Leone.

“When you invest in the education of a girl, you invest in a future filled with opportunity, dignity, and progress,” said Mr. Wurie.
