APC Chief Whip Attacks Chief Minister
In a fiery response to recent remarks made by Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, Dr. David Sengeh, the All People’s Congress (APC) Chief Whip has sharply criticized the minister’s statements, accusing the government of failing to address pressing national issues.
The Chief Whip described the Chief Minister’s comments as an attempt to shift blame for the worsening economic conditions, rising cost of living, and the government’s alleged inability to deliver on key promises. He emphasized that the APC remains steadfast in holding the administration accountable, particularly on matters related to governance, transparency, and economic stability.
He further alleged that the Chief Minister’s rhetoric was an attempt to undermine opposition parties and divert attention from the growing public dissatisfaction with the government’s performance. “This administration must stop playing the blame game and focus on delivering results for the people,” the Chief Whip stated.
The remarks set the stage for escalating political tensions as both sides prepare for upcoming Parliamentary debates and public engagements. The APC has reiterated its commitment to standing firm against policies they view as detrimental to Sierra Leoneans while urging the public to scrutinize the government’s actions closely.
