On 26 October 2025, the Golden Women in Action, an organisation formed by women leaders in the country, held its first general meeting at Congo Cross in the Western Area of Freetown. Their aim is to mobilise support among women who are the strong pillars in the APC.
The DIB Golden Women in Action have dedicated themselves to promoting the flagbearer aspiration vision of Dr. Ibrahim Bangura to be elected the next flagbearer of the APC and president of Sierra Leone.
Attendees of the meeting cut across different areas within Freetown ranging from eastern, central and western parts of the city.
The group is supported by Comrade Al-Sankoh-Conteh and Comrade Badamasi who have networks across the country.
