Former Chief Executive Officer of the NPPA, Ibrahim Brima Swaray, thanked President Bio for re-appointing him to serve in a different capacity. Ibrahim Swaray stated that he is coming to transform the NRA, with new and innovative ideas, adding that he is going to ensure that he puts the institution on the map again.
The National Revenue Authority (NRA), which is the institution that is responsible for the generation of revenue for the government. Ibrahim Brima Swaray was the head of the NPPA, where he made his mark, transforming the institution and ensuring that procurement procedures are followed. He has been very instrumental in reducing the corruption in that sector, introducing measures that have helped to ensure that procurement processes are done with due diligence. Now that he has been brought to head the NRA, Mr. Swaray is determined to enhance revenue generation and bring sanity to the sector.
