Sierra Leone’s top musician, Amiza, is set to release her album titled: Ella Koblo Gulama on December 8th, 2024. The decorated female rapper said that the album is inspired by the legendary Sierra Leonean figure, Ella Koblo Gulama.
Aminata Bangura, also known Itz Amiza, a Sierra Leonean born from Kamakwie, Karena District. She is a Limba by tribe. Itz Amiza attended the Government Model Secondary School in Freetown.
Apart from for her musical career to showcase her versatile talent, she is a also a professional makeup artist, sound editor, and camera operator.
She fell in love with entertainment since she was a kid. Her education in the senior secondary school, she get passionate inspiration and motivated to become a musician especially Afro hip-hop Dance Hall Artist.
Amiza also added that in her early days of singing as a genuinely Afro hip-hop dance hall rapper, she was inspired, by spice the Jamaican dance hall singer and xzu- B, a Sierra Leonean rapper which made to put more efforts in music.
Her first album was in 2018-2019. Her first song was named “MI YAI” which was a hit in the entertainment industry till now.
Currently, she is in collaboration with big African musicians. She said she will put Sierra Leone top in the musical world.
