{"id":2053,"date":"2026-08-17T19:16:38","date_gmt":"2026-08-17T19:16:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/daybreaknewspapersl.com\/?p=2053"},"modified":"2026-08-17T19:16:41","modified_gmt":"2026-08-17T19:16:41","slug":"slfa-completes-nle100-000-payment-to-family-of-late-footballer-bureh-ganso-koroma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/daybreaknewspapersl.com\/?p=2053","title":{"rendered":"SLFA Completes NLe100, 000 Payment to Family of Late Footballer Bureh Ganso Koroma"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the completion of a One Hundred Thousand New Leones (NLe100, 000) payment to the family of the late Bureh Ganso Koroma, a former player of Mighty Blackpool FC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The total amount comprises NLe75, 000&nbsp;from the SLFA and NLe25, 000 contributed by Mighty Blackpool FC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the SLFA, Mighty Blackpool FC paid its NLe25, 000 contribution into the Association\u2019s account on 13 March 2026. However, due to an administrative omission, the club\u2019s contribution was not captured in the initial payment arrangement made for the bereaved family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Association has acknowledged the omission and expressed its sincere regret, accepting full responsibility for the delay.
