The delegation included a representative of the Paramount Chief, community members, and chiefs from across the chiefdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The visit which drew a large crowd of local residents, was intended to assess progress on the health facility and strengthen collaboration between the organization, traditional authorities, and the District Health Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"561\" height=\"232\" src=\"https:\/\/daybreaknewspapersl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image_2026-05-02_080630743.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-92\" style=\"width:783px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/daybreaknewspapersl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image_2026-05-02_080630743.png 561w, https:\/\/daybreaknewspapersl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image_2026-05-02_080630743-300x124.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 561px) 100vw, 561px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After a guided tour of the construction site, a ceremonial gathering was held during which several key stakeholders delivered remarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Gandeh, representing the Paramount Chief officially opened the speaking program. He conveyed the Paramount Chief\u2019s heartfelt gratitude to the Muyea<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Family Organization for their vision and sacrifice. \u201cThe Paramount Chief is proud of what he has seen here today. This hospital will save countless lives in our chiefdom. He pledged his full traditional authority to support this project to its completion,\u201d Mr. Gandeh said. He also encouraged community members to protect the site and contribute voluntary labour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"559\" height=\"214\" src=\"https:\/\/daybreaknewspapersl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image_2026-05-02_080751608.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-93\" style=\"width:779px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/daybreaknewspapersl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image_2026-05-02_080751608.png 559w, https:\/\/daybreaknewspapersl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image_2026-05-02_080751608-300x115.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 559px) 100vw, 559px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Ngegba spoke on behalf of all the chiefs present, echoed similar sentiments. He praised the unity between the Muyea Family Organization and the traditional leadership. \u201cWe chiefs have waited too long for a modern health facility. Now, that it is rising from the ground, we will not rest. I call on every village head and Section Chief to mobilize their people. Let no one be left behind,\u201d Mr. Ngegba stated. He also appealed to the DMO for ongoing technical oversight.Mr. Jusu, the Community Health Officer (CHO) for Kori Chiefdom, also took the floor. He spoke passionately about the clinical impact the hospital would have. \u201cAs a health worker on the ground, I see daily the suffering of our people \u2013 pregnant women walking hours, children with high fevers with nowhere to go. This hospital will change that. The Muyea Family Organization has done what governments have promised for decades. He noted the quality of the foundation-the planned maternity wing, and the Isolation Unit. \u201cThe district health team is ready to partner with you. We will provide technical guidance, equipment recommendations, and staffing plans when the time comes. This is a model of community-driven development,\u201d the DMO said.
