The atmosphere in the Ministry of Works and Public Assets is a chaotic state as the Minister Dr. Dennis Sandy and the Professional Head, Engineer Paul Bockarie has reached a melting point as Minister Sandy has vowed that he would no longer work with him.
Notwithstanding the alleged forceful replacement of the Professional Head instituted by the Minister, Information reaching this medium says the minister has based his decision on the following: According to Dr. Sandy, he accused Ing. Bockarie of insubordination for failing to surrender his phone before the start of a leadership meeting on the 2nd of September, 2025, a claim some see as trivial and vindictive.
He went further, leveling allegations of procurement irregularities on the construction of six Presidential Lodges against the Chief Director, insisting that such processes should have involved him personally.
The Minister also attacked the Chief Director’s of handling of staff training nominations to attend International Assignments, asserting that he had already handpicked his team before his approval.
Sandy further pointed out in Bockarie’s letter of replacement, adding that the Professional Head had undertaken improper of Government Land. For instance, Bell Air Park.

Critics say Instead of the Minister focusing on achieving the agenda of H E the President he is bent on destroying those lofty dreams by refusing to work amicably with his staff members.
