Sierra Leoneans have started asking question if Dr. Kandeh Yumkelleh is a political opportunist. During the NGC hour on AYV, he was asked by the moderator that sometime back he was asked by AYV television presenter that if President Bio calls on him to take position, he categorically said that he would turn down the appointment. He added that if the Prisident wants to  advise from him relating to the country’s development he would willingly advise the President.

According to some schools of thoughts, he has exposed himself as a political opportunist. They say today the NGC  has gone into oblivion. Many of the NGC members are not happy with the decision he took to join the SLPP.

They were expecting KKY to soberly think that APC  SLPP have failed the people of this country. ”It’s not  possible for KKY  change the positions of thesew two political parties now that  he joined the SLPP,” a former NGC supporter fumed.
