With all the lined up flagbearer contenders, Sierra Leoneans are asking the question where were they when the country was sinking in the Mediterranean Sea. Many Sierra Leoneans belief that 2 out of 10 flagbearers’ really mean well to make a genuine u-turn around of the nation’s deplorable state, adding that many intends to exploit the already degenerated vulnerable conditions of ‘Sick Mama Salone’.

Political analysts say many of the flagbearers does not know the enormous tasks ahead of them, citing that rebuilding Sierra Leone again for it to stand of a better footing will take some decades.

3. Alhaji Musa Tarawally: SLPP figure and former minist
They also referenced that President Julius Maada Bio is already sick and fed up with the presidency and he looks forward to a peaceful and quiet retirement. But political analysts further say from the look of things President Bio is not a happy man. Will he not be harassed by his successor and the International Community to give account of his ten years stewardship? It’s a wait and see game.

4. Alie Kabba: Minister of Foreign Affairs
Already, majority of Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad are disgusted about President Bio’s tenure as Head of State of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

5. Bai Mahmoud Bangura: Senior APC figure
Sierra Leoneans are calling on these flagbearer contenders to rethink their decisions to succeed President Bio. A Krio adage says: ‘’Elephant head nor to pikin load’’

6. Chernor Ramadan Maju Bah (Chericoco): Former Deputy
Speaker of Parliament and 2018 APC running mate
The big question is that, is Sierra Leone’s Presidency for Sale? The writer will hang up for now until events keep on unfolding.
