Justice Momoh Jah Stevens has expressed deep gratitude and surprise after receiving a recognition award from the Female Wing of the Alfathi Muslim Development Organization in collaboration with WMPC.

“I am overwhelmed and surprised with this honour,” he said. “For that, I give thanks to the Almighty Allah.”

Justice Stevens shared his journey with the Alfathi Jammah which began in 1994 through his friend, now brother in faith, Alusine Kamara. Since then, he has remained a committed member of the congregation.

He praised the members of Alfathi for their continued dedication to the Islamic faith and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the award, noting it was done in the name of Islam.

“I thank everyone who played a part in bringing this award to me,” he added.

Justice Stevens proposed the establishment of an office for the council, expressing hope that it becomes a reality.

In his closing remarks, he urged fellow believers to remain humble before Allah, reminding them of life’s uncertainty.

“None of us knows when our time will come. Let us not abandon our prayers no matter the situation. If Allah helps you, help others,” he advised.
