Minister Sannoh Graces Orange E-sport

The Minister of Youth Affairs, Ibrahim Sannoh brought youthful energy and inspiration to the grand finale of the Orange E-sport Experience, University Tournament 2025.

Held in a vibrant atmosphere of competition and creativity, the tournament featured top sports talents from universities across Sierra Leone, including Fourah Bay College, IPAM, Njala University, UNIMAK, Canadian College, and Milton Margai Technical University.

Addressing participants and attendees, Minister Sannoh connected effortlessly with the gamers, revealing his personal love for e-sports. “I enjoy gaming myself, I often play PS5 during my quiet moments at home,” he shared, earning him loud cheers from the audience.

He praised the initiative by Orange and its partners for creating a platform that not only entertains but also fosters digital talent and innovation among young people.

He emphasized the importance of embracing technology and digital trends, noting that E-sports is more than just a game. ‘’It’s a global industry creating jobs, building communities, and inspiring creativity,’’ he stated.

He encouraged the participants to pursue their passion with discipline and vision, reminding them that the skills developed through gaming strategy, teamwork, and focus are vital in real life.

The grand finale he noted, was not all about celebrating youth potential, digital advancement, and the boundless power of imagination.
