SACKED MINISTERS IN TROUBLE
Unconfirmed reports reaching this medium have alleged that $3 million has gone missing at Forth Thornton, State House.
According to our source, this breaking news was recently unveiled at State House when it was made known that $3 million that was donated to the President was unaccounted for.
The money was reportedly donated to President Bio’s re-election campaign for the 24th June 2023 elections.
According to our source, an ardent SLPP supporter and philanthropist donated the $3 million to President Bio, which money was distributed to certain members of the President’s then close supporters to spread the President’s second term vision nationwide.
It is alleged that many of the victims of the President’s purge will be investigated, as a result many heads are expected to roll, and the President is apparently appalled at the audacity of his friends to dupe him when he needed them the most.
Many of SLPP supporters spoken to on this issue were shocked, and expressed the desire for His Excellency to look into this embarrassing development. They also support the President’s action, describing it as a step in the right direction, as one can only work with people that he can trust.
President Bio was elected in 2018 on an anti-corruption platform. His supporters believe that the culprit took the President for granted and failed to realize that he is the champion of corruption, and would not allow his close allies to indulge in such acts. The President was disappointed by those he had trusted most.
For his second term platform, President Bio has vowed to deal with corruption, and those accused of corruption related offences should face the music. It could be recalled that during His Excellency’s first term in office, his first public pronouncement was a clear advice to Sierra Leoneans, and a specific address to his supporters and close allies that they should not expect him to protect them when they do the wrong things.
The medium will keep you posted on any further information on the unfolding issue.
