In the hot burning sun of yesterday, Monday 5th December, 2019, on Bai Bureh Road, in Freetown, the capital city of Sierra Leone – West Africa, an twenty (20) year old woman, Adama Nadia Kabia was reportedly murdered in cold blood by a gang of men believed to have been led by the brothers of her stepmother.

Osman Bernard Kabia believed to have fled or killed

According to sources close to the family, the suspected brothers of the murder have been persistently making threatening remarks to kill the deceased and his only brother, Osman Bernard Kabia, whose whereabouts is still unknown for the said family property, the stepmother intends to protect at all cost for only her own children.
In response to the cold-blooded murder of the 20 years women in her apartment, irate youth with the community reportedly threatened to go on the rampage and even subjecting the suspects to what is known in the country as mob justice, but were prevented from doing so by the police, who intervened wifty with a promise of thorough investigations and bringing the culprits to book.

It could be recalled that the deceased had previously left the country to secure safety in a neighboring West African state of The Gambia to escape from an initiation rite that was about to be performed on her by the same stepmother.
According to reports, it was upon her return to this country with the aim of enquiring whether her younger brother, Osman Bernard Kabia still stays in their embattled house on Bai Bureh Road with the same people, where she met her untimely death at the hands of callous and property thirsty stepmother brothers.
Speaker after speaker who witnessed the murder scene recounted how the younger brother of the deceased, Osman Bernard Kabia was as well constantly facing intimidation and death threats from the younger brothers of the stepmother.
They even recalled a particularly incident, when he was almost killed by these bothers and had it not been for the timely intervention of his friends, who advised him to avoid the compound and find a way out for his own safety, he too could have been killed.
Sources furthered that on to the moment at press, the whereabouts of the deceased younger brother, Osman Bernard Kabia is yet to be known and rumours making the rounds are suggesting that he had either flee the country or has been killed secretly by his family foes, who have been haunting him all this while.
Probing further into the circumstances leading to the death of madam Adam Nadia Kabia, it was revealed that the documents of the disputed property was carted away by the younger brother whose destination is unknown even at press time.
In an exclusive interview with the head of police officers who visited the crime scene, inspector Abdulai Bangura assured of effective investigations and to bring those responsible to book and appealed to the irate youth to be calm and not to take the law into their own hands.
