The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has recently issued out a press statement indicating that it has held its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting as stated in the party’s constitution in article 8 (11 C) which stated that, the (NEC) is the second highest decision-making organ of the party.
It is against this backdrop that the party has got its new national party executive members headed by the National Chairman and Leader, Harold Turay and team are determined for better policy change.
However, the newly elected national party executives will reshape the party to better serve the interest of its constituents and to sharpen its focus on key policy areas thereby enhancing the party’s influence in local and national politics.
Moreover, the newly elected national executive members are a mix of experienced politicians and fresh faces that are focus to bringing a wide array of skills as well as ensuring that the voices of the electorates are heard.
The new executive includes the newly elected party national officials, Mr. Harold Turay National Chairman and Leader, Mr. Hassan B Sesay, Deputy National Chairman and Leader, Mr. Saidu Kargbo, National Organising Secretary, Lynette Umu Bah, Assistant National Organising Secretary, Mr. Mohamed K Kamara, National Treasure, Madam Isatu Sowe, National Financial Controller, Madam Lucinda Kanneh, Regional Chairperson West and Mr. Abu Bakarr Bangura, National Secretary General.
The executive members headed by the dynamic Chairman and Leader, Mr. Harold Turay are poised to bring a facelift to the party and effectively accountable to their membership and the general public as enshrined in the party’s constitution.
The new national party executive is also a crucial step in the party’s ongoing mission to uphold democratic values and effectively represent the interest of the people thereby ensuring transparency, trust and progressive future for the party and its supporters.
The party’s national headquarters is located at 152 Kissy Road by Up Gun roundabout and is the hub for the party activities including meetings, events and communications with the public.
