The Rokel Commercial Bank (RCBank) under the leadership of the dynamic and erudite Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Ekundayo Walton Gilpin, has for the umpteenth time received another prestigious award – this time from the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT).
The citation of the award noted among other things that the prestigious award was given to RCBank for its regular compliance in paying the monthly contributions of its workers across the country.
The RCBank under Dr. Ekundayo Walton Gilpin has evolved from a bank that was at the brink of financial collapse but was brought back to life through the transformative efforts of Dr. Ekundayo Walton Gilpin.
The RCBank is unarguably among the top five commercial banks in Sierra Leone and its Managing Director Dr. Ekundayo Walton Gilpin has added a feather to his cap in recent days when the Bank of Sierra Leone (BSL) granted him the opportunity of taking over the operations of the Union Trust Bank (UTB) following the demise of its founder the late Sanpha Koroma.
The RCBank since the appointment of Dr. Ekundayo Walton Gilpin has steadily risen from one level to another level to the admiration and commendation of the general public and even from its competitors and rivals.
The NASSIT Award is an added accolade indicative of the fact that apart from serving customers, the RCBank has a soft spot for its employees and ensures that the bank complies with the NASSIT Act by regularly paying the monthly contributions of its workers.
