The Presidential flag-bearer of the main opposition, All People’s Congress party (APC), in a press conference held at the Brookfields Hotel on Wednesday, 14th June, 2023, said that the APC and the people of this country have suffered a lot under the leadership of the misdirection of the SLPP ‘Paopa’ government.
Samura Kamara furthered that the harassment, intimidation and the hardship in the country, has become worrisome and the people of this country can no longer allow the failed SLPP government to rule them again.
He maintained that harassment by the police and the military against the opposition, has become worrisome that they no longer feel safe, adding that there is the possibility that on the day for the election, people who reside in the stronghold of the APC are going to be intimidated by the forces.
Samura Kamara stressed that the people of Sierra Leone are desperate for a change, because the ‘paopa government’ of President Bio has woefully failed them, and they no longer have trust in it.
