Shameful!!!

SLPP Exposed Big Time

Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad were shocked and taken aback when they saw a release from State House that President Bio has received the report of the Tribunal which was investigating the suspended Auditor General, Lara Taylor Pearce and her Deputy, Tamba Momoh.

According to the report of the Tribunal, they have found them of professional misconduct and they have recommended for the sacking of Lara Taylor Pearce and Tamba Momoh. Concern citizens believe that they were suspended because they exposed corruption at State House relating to fake receipts unearth at the Audit Service Sierra Leone.

The report has exposed the entire SLPP and the Bio-led government. It could be recalled that President Bio during his campaign in 2018, he vowed to fight corruption if he is voted as President of Sierra Leone. He went to the extent of accusing the previous government(APC) of high placed corruption and under his leadership corruption would be an expensive practice.

The exposed fake receipts at State House has shamefully uncovered President Bio to the International Community and the world at large. One school of thought says the shaming of the SLPP in that corruption scandal by the suspended Auditor General and Deputy was to remove them from office.

The President’s decision has sent a negative image of Sierra Leone to the outside world especially the country’s development partners.

When Sierra Leoneans rudely learnt about the suspension of the Auditor General and Deputy, the Bio led Government was strongly condemned by the International Community, well-meaning organizations and Sierra Leoneans for the government to reverse its decision and reinstate the Auditor General and Deputy to their positions.

When news broke out on social media that the suspended Auditor General and Deputy should be sacked as recommended by the Tribunal, supporters of the SLPP were in jubilant mood celebrating and heaping praises on President Bio for his action.
