The Producer for the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation SLBC, who doubles as Director of Administration and Human Resources, Rev. Dr. Lucy-Ann Ganda is currently in hiding after an attempt on her life by unknown persons.
According to reports, the We Yus Producer played host to former housemate of the Big Sister Season 3; Lucinda Mboma, who was allegedly stabbed for exposing some illegal activities at the Mambo Water catchment by some big guns.
Rev. Ganda’s house was attacked and her backyard together with her generator was burnt by the attackers later in October. In an interaction with the Deputy Director General of SLBC, the Director of Admin and HR has not reported for duty for over a week now. According to sources close to Lucinda Mboma, she is also said to have been in hiding as her adversaries have vowed to eliminate both the producer and Lucinda for what they called pock nosing into something that is not their business, raising awareness and causing problems for them and the rest of the ordinary people in Mambo community.
Although the WE YUS Producer is currently in hiding, her house in Angola Town according to some family members still remains a hunting zone by unknown persons with messages of threat to take her life at all costs for exposing their illegal activities that pose serious health and social risks to human and the environment.
