The Sierra Leone Maritime Administration (SLMA) rescued eleven crew members after their vessel, LMV White Prophet, encountered difficulties between Lungi Modia and Conakrydee.
The vessel had departed Rogbangba Wharf en route to Guinea when it sent a distress call. SLMA’s Search and Rescue team responded swiftly, bringing all 11 crew members safely to shore without loss of life.
SLMA reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives at sea and assured the public of its readiness to handle future maritime emergencies.
