SLPHA in Landmark MoU with Cyprus.

The Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA) formed part of the high-level delegation led by the Minister of Transport and Aviation, Alhaji Fanday Turay, during for the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cyprus Deputy Shipping Minister, Marina Hadjimanolis. The signing took place at the Cyprus High Commission in London.

The ceremony—where SLPHA played a focal role—cements cooperation in maritime training and capacity building between Sierra Leone and Cyprus.

Members of the SLPHA delegation present included: Mr. Yankuba Askia Bio, Director General and Martin Maada George, Company Secretary.

The new agreement follows a successful three-day State Visit to Cyprus by His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio, during which the President and his delegation were warmly received by His Excellency Mr. Nikos Christodoulides and the Government and people of the Republic Cyprus.
