The Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) in Kambia District successfully conducted its lower level elections past Sunday, May 31, 2025, at the District Party Headquarters. The event concluded peacefully, showcasing the party’s commitment to a democratic process.
The party’s Chairman and executives expressed their gratitude to the Local Unit Commander (LUC) Bob Musa Mansaray and his team for maintaining law and order during the elections, despite challenging weather conditions that included heavy rain and thunderstorms. ‘’Their steadfast dedication and professionalism were highlighted as pivotal factors in ensuring a fair and secure environment for voters,’’ a SLPP supporter stated.
Party members and executives also commended the police officers for their commendable conduct, effective deployment strategies, and the enforcement of discipline, which collectively contributed to a smooth, incident-free electoral process.
Residents of Kambia District demonstrated their law-abiding nature, further enhancing the reputation of the ruling party for conducting peaceful elections in the area.
The newly elected Chairman acknowledged the positive impact of LUC Bob Musa Mansaray’s leadership on community safety. He noted a significant decline in crime rates and improved control over illegal border crossings since Mansaray’s appointment. The Chairman emphasized the importance of recognizing the hard work of dedicated police officers in the district, asserting that residents can now feel secure and proud of the effective police presence.
