Baluwa Koroma a Beacon of Hope in the Petroleum Sector.

One of the greatest goodness that has happened to Sierra Leone is the appointment of Brima Baluwa Koroma, Executive Chairman Petroleum Regulatory Agency by His Excellency President Bio.

Prior to his appointment Sierra Leone’s petroleum sector was nothing good to write home about but since the appointment of Baluwa Koroma in 2018 by His Excellency President Bio, Mr Koroma has been able to visibly stabilize the downstream sector across the country.
The sector has seen major reforms such as the swift adjustment of price base on global platts to ensuring that fuel in particular never shortened in the country to revoking of License from defaulting dealers to Leading Inspection to various Filling Stations in the country.
The respected PRA boss has made steady progress by decentralizing the sector and encouraging more players in the sector. In recent times we have seen unprecedented availability of new players notably Aminata Gas Stations across the country.
This venerated gentleman has turned things round that a pundit who spoke to this medium has intimated us that because of the transformation the said sector has had and continues to the President should now be willing to transforming the said institution into a stand -alone Ministry, noting that the highly respected Executive Chairman has the requisite stamina and leadership charisma to handle such Ministry as it is being done in other neighboring African Countries notably Ghana.
The pundit further noted that Brima Baluwa Koroma is the suitable person to have headed the institution since its establishment.
” With the major reforms, many player, government working with the sector players in ensuring the availability of Foreign Currency through the Bank of Sierra Leone. He is the best Executive Chairman. This l can say with no iota of doubt in my mind ” the pundit said.
What is more glaring in the transformative drives is the availability of Filling Stations across every corner. For example, in Freetown just to provide quality services to Sierra Leone.
Another uniqueness of the Executive Chairman is his ability to swiftly respond to crisis especially when hoarders attempt to either close Filling Stations or sell above the normal government price; a recent case in point was the Lady at Grafton who was caught on camera forcing Commercial Motor Riders to buy products beyond the normal government’s price Sierra Leoneans saw the agile action by the Regulatory Agency.
What Sierra Leoneans have seen under the distinguished leadership of Brima Baluwa Koroma is second to none as he continues to support the ‘Five Agenda’ of His Excellency President Bio.
He is among the many reasons why Sierra Leoneans voted for President Bio and the President should be therefore grateful to him.

the Man of the Moment has changed the narrative completely of the entire Petroleum Sector as he leaves many critics in the shackles of shame as the bowed their heads in shame and disgrace.
As this writer types, there is enough product available to serve Sierra Leoneans through the festive season because the highly proactive Executive Chairman has been assiduously working to ensuring the product is available for all.
As he continues to work in the best interest of Sierra Leone, the writer would continue to shed light on his successes because he is on the right track.
