According to supporters of the APC, there are some people in the party that are bad eggs, insinuating that these are surreptitiously working behind the scenes to see the party lose the elections in June. They maintained that these bad eggs are only interested in personal gain than in the interest of the party. The following were identified as the bad eggs in the APC:
Hon. Ibrahim Bundu
Honorable Ibrahim Bundu, who was Speaker of Parliament under the APC, and held senior position at the ECOWAS Parliament on behalf of the country has been among those fighting against the party’s back to power campaign. It was also revealed that all those that are fighting the party are being prompted by Hon. Bundu. They furthered that instead of encouraging others to embrace the party, Hon. Bundu has joined them to fight against the party.
Sylvia Blyden
Sylvia Blyden is another of the detractors working against the party that has made her what she is today in the political landscape. They maintained that she is one of those that benefited greatly from the party when in governance. She was appointed as Minister of Social Welfare, and later as SEA to the President at State House, today, many people are shocked that she could turn against the very people that promoted her and the party that she benefited so much from. Most shocking is the fact that she is working with the SLPP against her party. Her latest prediction that Bio will win the June elections in a run-off, speaks volumes of her loyalty.
Instead of promoting her party’s candidate, she is busy promoting the SLPP agenda.
Peter Conteh
Peter Conteh left his job in America to come and destabilize the APC party, as if that was his mission from day one. Peter Conteh has been described as one of the bad eggs in the APC, and they warned supporters to be very careful with him. Many say that it is the avowed aim of Peter Conteh to prevent the party from contesting in the June elections, as the many Court matters can confirm.
COLESON TURAY
Coleson Turay was appointed as ambassador by former President Koroma, and today he is fighting against the party that has made him what he is. They maintained that he too is determined to destroy the party, but this has backfired, thanks to the Judges for throwing out the matter they took to the court.
Some supporters of the party have described Coleson as being ungrateful to the party and the former President, as he has been busy backstabbing the party.
