RE: CASE OF AN ALLEGED CASE OF DIVULGING, INCITEMENT, AND DISORDERLY
BEHAVIOUR AGAINST MR. ABASS KARGBO
INTRODUCTION:
This official notice is issued pursuant to the powers vested in the Sierra Leone Police under the Treason and State Offences Act, 1963; the Criminal Procedure Act, 1965; the Public Order Act, 1965 and all other enabling laws of Sierra Leone. You Mr. Abass Kargbo were alleged to have committed serious criminal offenses, namely divulging of secret information, Incitement, and Disorderly Behaviour. You were identified as the who divulged secret information against your Uncle and other politicians in Sierra Leone particularly at Mile 91 township.
BRIEF FACTS: According to information received by the police, Mr. Abass Kargbo lives at Mile 91 with his father, Mother and other family members. But his uncle was one of the powerful man in Sierra Leone, and he was a herbalist and a ritualist who sacrificed human beings for most politicians who wants to retained in governance. Investigations also revealed that, Abass;s father joined his uncle in doing the same herbalist work.
As Abass realised that his father has joined his uncle in doing a herbalist work, he decided to advised his father to disassociate himself from that work and for him to advise his uncle to stop doing herbalist and ritual sacrifice for people. After some time, Abass confronted his uncle to stop doing herbalist and ritual sacrifice for people and if anybody dies through his herbalist work, he will prosecute him to the authorities. Upon hearing this piece of advice from Abass, he told the politicians about that. In response the politicians told the herbalist man to kill Abass for him not to reveal their secrets to the authorities about his herbalist work. Abass became a target to his uncle and all policians. The Sierra Leone Police are actively investigating his role and that of other individuals affiliated with his uncle. Investigations also revealed that you acted in divulging secret information of government ministers. These actions are alleged to have contravened the laws of Sierra Leone, specifically: Treason and State Offences Act, Section 3(1) Charges of escaping from prison. The Public Order Act, 1965 Section 12, 16 and 17: Prohibits divulging and disorderly conduct, incitement to violence.

According to the Public Affairs Department of the Sierra Leone Police through a press release signed by the Inspector General of Police, that Abass Kargbo was fully involved in divulging secret informations to state authorities about government ministers.
During that period, some politicians made an official report to the police against Abass Kargbo. Police personnel stormed the residence of Abass Kargbo where he was arrest on that faithful day and taken to the police station fur investigation. He was investigate and charged to court for the offence of divulging secret information where he is serving jail sentence at the Pademba road Maximum prison.
In January, 2021, Abass Kargbo escaped from prison as a result of prison break. As a result, some prisoners including Abass Kargbo were declared fugitive by the police and a warrant of arrest was issued for their immediate apprehension and a handsome reward was offered to whosoever provides useful information that would lead to their arrest.
By the authority vested in the Sierra Leone Police under the Criminal Procedure Act, 1965 section 27 it’s the responsibility of the force to execute the warrant of arrest against Abass Kargbo and are hereby ordered to present himself immediately at the nearest police station or the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Headquarters, Pademba Road, Freetown, to assist with the ongoing investigation. Failure to comply with this warrant will result in further legal action, including but not limited to, prosecution in absentia and the full enforcement of all applicable penalties under Sierra Leonean law.
