Abdul Aziz Kargbo and Hassan Mansaray made their first appearance before Magistrate John Manso Fornah of Pademba Road Court No.2 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Conspiracy to commit a crime contrary to law and Larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916
According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 17th June 2025 at Aberdeen Police Station in the Western Area in Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a crime
Count two further stated that on the same date and place the accused persons stole six various types of vehicles number plates comprising APQ 821, APW 807 and ANP 187 value seven hundred and thirty Leones all to the total value of thirty thousand three hundred and eighty Leones(30,380) property of the local unit commander Aberdeen division
When the charge was read and explained to the accused persons they pleaded not guilty
The prosecutor Detective Police Constable Thoronka K.K sought for a short adjournment date because his witness was absent in court
Meanwhile, Magistrate Fornah refused bail and sent the accused persons to the Male Correctional Facility in Freetown. The matter was adjourned to the 24th July 2025.
