Victoria Cole Sponsors Red Pump Cleaning Exercise

Saturday, 1st April 2023, Madam Victoria Cole a daughter of the soil of Red Pump community, who is based in the United States of America is giving back to her community.
In an exclusive interview via phone, she stated that she is calling on all Sierra Leoneans including those living at Red Pump, elsewhere in the country and abroad to come onboard to push the community forward.
She stated further that, for any development to go forward, there should be peace and love amongst everybody so that they can be able to move their respective communities and the country as a whole forward.
Sahr Ibrahim Fonja is Project Coordinator for Red Pump Community cleaning exercise. He informed this medium that, he thanks Madam Cole for her support to the community and is praying to Almighty Allah to continue to provide for her so that she can be able to give support to her community.
John Pio Sesay who is the Red Pump Youth Chairman also thanked Madam Cole for her benevolent support. Amongst other things, he stated that there are a lot of things the community is lacking. He cited the absence of health care center, sparse water, food and roads that are very challenging.
He added that he was the one that brought road reconstruction projects to his community, with support from Mohamed Gento Kamara, adding that he is calling on stakeholders to come onboard to complete the road works.
On her part, Chairlady Fatmata Sesay who organized the cleaning exercise, thanked Madam Cole and those involved in making sure that projects in their community become reality. She maintained however that her community is suffering from malaria and called on the authorities to come to their aid.
She also stated that such cleaning activities must continue every week in order to motivate youths.
Madam Titty Davis, one of the stakeholders in the community, called on every Sierra Leonean to come onboard to brace the opportunity that Madam Cole is supporting. She also called for peace and love between and amongst citizens to prevail in order to move the community forward.
Mohamed Nameni Sesay who is a social worker for the cleaning exercise also called all Sierra Leoneans to put ego and come together as one family to move their respective communities and the country as a whole forward.
“This cleaning exercise is the first phase,” said Mr. Sesay, adding that there are lots of other projects Madam Cole is championing towards her community’s development.
He thanked Madam Cole for the support and prayed that God continues to provide and protect her.
