Since the Sierra Leone People Party (SLPP) assumed power in 2018, there has been nothing of development to write home about, on the other hand the country’s economy is in dire straits, with reports of spiraling inflation, rising unemployment, high cost of living and increasing poverty levels. This financial crisis has been going on for years now, with the skyrocketing of the prices of commodities having a devastating effect on the livelihood of ordinary Sierra Leoneans.
As weeks turn into months, President Bio is still struggling to address the crisis, and citizens are feeling the pinch of his failed policies.
