YMF Implements Community Rebirth Project.

In line with its vision to empower young people with leadership skills and nurture responsible advocates, the Youth and Masses Foundation successfully executed its 2025 Community Rebirth Project on Friday, 26th December 2025. The initiative stands as a practical demonstration of the Foundation’s commitment to transforming mindsets, promoting peace, and building safer, healthier communities.

The project was designed to inspire youths and vulnerable groups to resist drug addiction, stand against Sexual and Gender-Based violence (SGBV), embrace healthy lifestyles, and participate in community development through collaborative sanitation activities. Beyond awareness, the project emphasized responsibility, unity, and community ownership—core values reflected in the Foundation’s mission.

The outreach covered three communities- St. Michael, Bonga Town, and Kroobay Communities. In each location, participants engaged in sensitization sessions focused on drug abuse prevention, peace building, empowerment, protection against violence, teenage pregnancy, and early marriage and patriotism

The response was overwhelmingly positive. Residents warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed a strong willingness to collaborate with the Foundation. As a key outcome, local committees were established in all three locations to serve as focal points for coordinating future activities, ensuring long-term impact.

By prioritizing action over words, the Community Rebirth Project reaffirmed the Foundation’s mission to build intellectual capacity and raise community role models. The Youth and Masses Foundation remains committed to partnering with stakeholders to nurture empowered youths who serve as agents of peace and positive change.
