The Sierra Leone Athletics Association (SLAA) has approved a request by its membership to convene an Extraordinary Congress, following a recent meeting between the Association’s Executive and the National Sports Authority (NSA).
The Congress is scheduled to take place in Bo City from 17–18 July 2026.
According to a notice issued by the SLAA Secretariat, members have been urged to review the list of eligible voters and submit any corrections before the Congress.
The Extraordinary Congress will primarily address concerns over clubs omitted from the voters’ register and determine a definitive date for the Association’s Elective Congress, with the Secretariat emphasising.
