The Sierra Leone U-15 team has completed its third Football Education Learning Session in Baku, Azerbaijan, with an engaging discussion on mental toughness.
The session was conducted by Philippe Senderos, former Arsenal and Switzerland defender, who currently works with FIFA as a High Performance Specialist and Talent Development Specialist within the Global Football Development Division.
Senderos shared valuable insights with the young players on the importance of mental strength in football and how it contributes to their development both on and off the pitch.
The session forms part of the team’s learning experience at the FIFA A U-15 World Cup & Festival in Baku Azerbaijan.
