One of the emerging and leading telecommunications network QCell Sierra Leone has officially launched its new 035 number series, expanding its mobile network and giving customers more options to choose preferred phone numbers.

Speaking at the launch, QCell Sierra Leone CEO Jayamani Kathick said the introduction of the new series shows the company’s continued investment in innovation, customer service and nationwide connectivity.

“The launch of the 035 number series demonstrates QCell’s continued investment in innovation, customer experience and national connectivity. We are giving Sierra Leoneans more opportunities to choose numbers that reflect their identity while meeting the growing demand for mobile services across the country,” Kathick said.

QCell announced that customers will be able to reserve and purchase their preferred 035 numbers through designated QCell offices and authorised channels.

According to QCell’s Head of Marketing and Product, Edward Nelson Pratt, customers who purchase a new 035 number will receive 10 minutes of voice calls, 300MB of data and 100 SMS.

Also speaking at the event, Head of QMoney Sierra Leone, Gabriel Mendy, said the launch will help QCell connect more Sierra Leoneans while giving subscribers easy access to QMoney services.

“The expansion of the 035 series means greater QCell connectivity for more Sierra Leoneans. Subscribers will also have seamless access to QMoney transactions,” Mendy said.

He added that QMoney operates with strong Know Your Customer requirements and improved security measures designed to protect customers and build trust.

“We are ensuring that our customers are safe and can trust QMoney like a bank. In three years of operations, we have never been mentioned in any fraud-related headline. This shows our commitment to security,” he said.

Mendy concluded with the slogan: “QCell is the bread, and QMoney is the butter.” Would you choose a new 035 number and use it for QMoney services?
