Historic Induction of New Ambassadors at MaMJGEF Celebrated at Fourah Bay College

Today, March 27, 2024, the Mamie Mariama Justice Ganawah Education Foundation (MaMJGEF) held its first induction ceremony for new ambassadors at the prestigious Tunde Cole Building, Fourah Bay College. This event marked a significant expansion in the foundation’s efforts to promote education and support to those in need.

The ceremony began with Ambassador Bindi taking the stage to both open the program and introduce the program’s chairman, Ambassador Abdul Wahab Amara. Amara expressed his joy and honour in overseeing this landmark event for the foundation. He highlighted the importance of the MaMJGEF’s mission and the pivotal role the new ambassadors will play in furthering its objectives.

CEO Mohamed Ibrahim Justice Ganawah delivered a heartfelt keynote address, emphasizing the value of lending a helping hand and the foundation’s vision and mission. Named after his late mother, who was a staunch believer in the transformative power of education and philanthropy, Ganawah underscored that helping those in need not only serves humanity but also attracts divine blessings. He called upon the new ambassadors to inject fresh energy into the foundation’s activities, aiming for greater success and outreach.

The distinguished guest, Pastor Johnny Sawyer, who heads the Redeemed Tabernacle Church, officiated the induction. His prayers and guidance to the new ambassadors underscored the sacredness of their undertaking and the expectations placed upon them. Following the solemn ceremony, certificates were distributed to the inductees, symbolizing their official roles within the MaMJGEF.

In a touching acknowledgment of their contributions, the foundation celebrated its existing ambassadors for their dedication over the past year. The event facilitated a blend of old and new, as photographs captured the unity and commitment shared among all ambassadors. A series of friendly exchanges between the newly inducted and the existing ambassadors fostered a spirit of camaraderie and mutual support.

The ceremony concluded with light refreshments, allowing for informal interactions and the strengthening of bonds within the MaMJGEF community. The twelve ambassadors inducted today are:
