Massive Cabinet Reshuffle Soon

Conformed sources from State House have intimidated this press that President Bio will soon reshuffle his less than 12 months old Cabinet owing to lack of commitment and determination to execute his policies.

The sources also disclosed that most ministers are not in cordial terms with their deputies and are in fact much closer to their Permanent Secretaries and Accountants whom they consult on many issues bordering their ministries especially finance.

The general public has also expressed regret over the Labour Ministry’s neglect to issue a statement bordering on the promised scholarships for Sierra Leonean students to study in US universities. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is also blamed for failing to find a solution for Sierra Leoneans stranded in the diaspora and also for failing to resolve the Yenga issue.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Seed Multiplication Programe has allegedly misappropriated billions of Leones and converted vehicles, sold rice from Indonesia meant for the Tormabun project despite the fact that it has been brought to the knowledge of the Minister but nothing has been done.

The Ministry of Trade and Industry tops the list for failing to control the prices in the market especially for consumables. The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education is still to find mechanisms to prevent the escalating illegal charges on parents by teachers. The Ministry of Technical and Higher Education is also in the public eyes for failing to prevent the ongoing bribery in public universities for notes and exams by lecturers. The Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation is still to show commitment to resolving the deplorable state of sanitation of the streets of Freetown while the lands Minister is always blamed over delays of signing documents and alleged fabrication of document for certain clients.
