There was widespread excitement in Parliament today following the appointment of Hon. Aminata Sesay, Member of Parliament representing Port Loko District, by the Speaker of Parliament to serve as a member of the Ad Hoc Oversight Committee.
The Committee was established in line with Recommendation 20 of the Tripartite Committee Report to promote transparency, accountability, and credibility in Sierra Leone’s electoral process.
Hon. Aminata Sesay’s appointment has been widely welcomed by colleagues and members of the public, many of whom view it as a well-deserved recognition of her dedication, integrity, and active contributions to national discourse.
