The National Revenue Authority (NRA), through its Non-Tax Revenue (NTR) Department, has embarked on a provincial stakeholders engagement and training exercise for surveyors from the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Country Planning.
The engagement is designed to train surveyors on the usage of the NTR Payment Mobile App and to educate stakeholders on the benefits of Digital Reforms in MDAs that provide services to citizens where fees or payments are required.
This sensitization drive follows a similar initiative previously conducted in the southern and eastern provinces. This phase covers Port Loko District, Makeni City, Karene, Kono, Kambia, and Falaba Districts.
Following each stakeholder engagement session, a simulcast radio programme is conducted with the Principal Accountant of the Ministry, Moinina V.J.L. Kopoi, Esq., alongside NRA ICT Manager Thomas Tiffa, Khadijatu Bangura-Kargbo, and Haja Boi Fofanah from the NTR Department.
The NRA’s ongoing provincial drive underlines its drive to strengthen non-tax revenue administration while supporting MDAs to deliver faster and more traceable services to citizens.
